A nonprofit organization run by young people, Synap Kids, makes neuroscience easier for kids to understand. We host student-led research projects, conduct awareness campaigns, and produce easily readable content. We hope to ignite early interest in brain science and make difficult subjects approachable for people of all ages by fusing creativity and science communication.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) – OPEN (ONE POSITION)
Manage day-to-day operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Implement strategic plans set by the CEO and oversee project timelines.
Coordinate communication between content, outreach, and design teams.
Track project progress and resolve any operational challenges.
Ensure deadlines are met and maintain a productive team environment.

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – OPEN (ONE POSITION)
Develop marketing strategies to promote Synap Kids’ content and projects.
Lead social media campaigns and oversee content scheduling.
Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies to increase reach.
Collaborate with the graphic design team to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic.
Seek out opportunities for collaborations and partnerships to expand visibility.

Chief Communications Officer (CCO) – OPEN (ONE POSITION)
Manage internal and external communications for Synap Kids.
Draft and distribute newsletters, announcements, and press releases.
Develop outreach strategies to connect with relevant organizations and partners.
Maintain a positive public image and respond to media inquiries.
Assist with drafting scripts or speaking points for events or presentations.

Chief Technology Officers (CTO) – OPEN (TWO POSITIONS)
Manage all digital platforms and oversee tech-related projects.
Ensure website functionality and update content as needed.
Implement tech solutions to streamline project management.
Collaborate with the design team to create interactive content.
Monitor data security and digital assets.
